Expensive gift for UPNG

Letters

I am surprised to see the University of Papua New Guinea making money from the Games Village building, which was given free by the government to the university as a gift.
UPNG is now charging students who want to live in the Games Village (twin share) next year K12,000 each, inclusive of meals.
It is trying to make money from what it was given free.
I urge all the students going to UPNG next year to ask the university’s administration staff why it is charging so much.
