Explain delay in teachers’ payment

TEACHERS in the country are still waiting for their consumer price index (CPI) entitlement payment for 2020.
The same payment for 2019 ceased on pay 14 of this year.
The prolonged silence over this matter is unprofessional.
It is the beginning of term four and schools are approaching the end of the schooling year.
What is causing the delay?
Can someone at the Education Department, Teaching Service Commission or PNG Teachers’ Association explain the delay?
