Explain missing names on common roll

Letters

FIRST day of polling in the General Election 2022 and already everything seems to be falling apart.
Common roll updates have not happened at all.
Even the 2017 roll seems to have been subjected to a depletion exercise entailing a reduction and removal of names of people from the common roll.
Mr Commissioner, how can you justify the absence of the name of a voter who voted in 2017 yet that very name isn’t in the rolls for General Election 2022?
Is not the updating of the common roll the most important of all functions in any commissioners’ constitutional obligations upon taking office?
Were you around in some capacity at the Electoral Commission and witnessed the 2017 Election?
If so, how come you upon appointment never fronted the Government to fight tooth and nail to secure sufficient funding’s to enable you to deliver a successful election 2022?
Again five years and we still have to complain about failures as we did in 2017.
