PEOPLE have started visiting the Vision City Mega Mall trade expo which began yesterday.
Organisers of the expo are hoping that more people will take the opportunity to visit the stalls put up by the 20 companies as some will be offering discounts.
The stall for the 20 participants are set up from the front entrance to the back end of the new wing on the ground floor.
The week-long Vision City trade expo starts from 8am to 9pm daily until Sunday. There will be various promotions and launching of products during the week.
Maureen Esta, the marketing manager of the Vision City Mega Mall, said some companies participating could be offering special discounts to customers.
“So we hope the public would not only witness or see the new products, but they would also buy and give it a try,” she said.
The trade expo began yesterday with members of the public visiting the stall and asking questions on the products displayed.
Esta had said the purpose of the expo was to open business opportunity or partnerships with participants, especially if they have something new to offer.
Customer Richard Gogowadia said the organisers should hold a bigger one next year.
“It gives an understanding on what’s available and allows the public to educate themselves,” he said.
“This is a great idea and it should be made bigger next year.”
