NEW water and sanitation facilities at Bisiatabu in Sogeri, Central, are providing more accessible and clean water and sparking a change in hygiene and sanitation for the community.
Students and more than 200 people in the community are benefiting from two 9,000-litre water tanks and a community meeting space installed at Bisiatabu Primary School as part of the Central water security project.
The project was supported by the Australian government, in partnership with the Government, through the Kokoda initiative programme.
Students said they were glad to have water tanks close to the school.
