Fairfax competition lauds governor for funding

LAST Saturday’s launching of the Volleyball Fairfax 2106 season proper at the PNG Education Institute by NCD Governor Powes Parkop was a milestone for the clubs taking part in the competition.
Volleyball Fairfax president Kila Dick said that it was an honour to have the governor be the guest speaker to officially open the volleyball season. “The Volleyball Fairfax executives, clubs, players and supporters salute you,” Dick told Parkop.
“We thank you for your funding assistance of K30,000 to support our competition.”
He said that the pledge by Parkop for the competition would go a long way in the association’s activities.
