THE Toaripi community at Hohola No.5 in Port Moresby attended a special service on Sunday to launch an appeal for funds for flood victims in East Kerema.

Floods caused devastation to the village communities in the Gulf of Papua.

The Toaripi congregation prayed for spiritual and physical strength to carry out their duties in serving and saving their fellow Kerema people.

They were told about the conviction and devotion to help the victims and the only way to succeed in preventing further damage to the villagers was to develop faith with action garnished with loving care.

It is through this that change for the betterment of the East Kerema would come – through God’s boundless blessing and love.
