Falcon jet ready to be sold off

THE Falcon Jet, once the government’s official aircraft, has been on the market for the past month.
Air Niugini, current owner of the jet, sent it for servicing to Singapore two months before putting it up for sale.
Chairman Garth McIlwain said yesterday in Port Moresby that some prospective buyers had made initial inspections.
He said the jet’s market value was between US$25 million and US$30 million (K52-62 million), and was optimistic that it would be sold off soon.
