Family mourns with rest of country

THE Tirit family of Antiragen village in Markham, Morobe, convey our heartfelt condolences to the family of Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare.
We thank Sir Michael for his tremendous contribution towards building this beautiful nation.
We do not have much to give you in return, however, we are celebrating your life and achievements in a haus krai here at Antiragen village.
We are in sorrow with the rest of the Papua New Guinea throughout the country and overseas.
Jesus, in John 11:25-26, says, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.”
I pray this Bible verse gives you comfort during this time of sorrow.
