POTATO farming in Kabwum district, Morobe, has huge potential but lacks agricultural technical advice and training to enrich farmers and service providers, a service provider with Support Services Contract Facility (SSCF), Zanimo Heting, said.
He realised this during consultation with 34 farmers at Derim and Yalumet in Deyamos LLG.
In a report to SSCF manager Ken Elonaga, Heting claimed a lot of farmers were encountering issues affecting cash crop farming.
