A LOCAL woman in East New Britain has set a benchmark in local fashionwear in the province.

Anette Sete, a former journalist and now a business woman, is selling her self-designed fashion wear to women in the province and the country.

Her products labelled “Lava Girl” are now popular. Sete’s turned her passion in designing into business.

She was among local vendors last Wednesday at the hot springs in Matupit ward in the Rabaul district selling her products to tourists who visited ENB on P&O’s Pacific Aria.

Sete’s stall attracted female tourists who walked away happy with their gifts. Her products include rings, earrings and bracelets made from vanished coconut shells, vine ropes, shells and Tolaitabu, floral dresses and blouses and Pacific shirts for men.

Most of Sete’s products are selling from K10 to K50 and many customers are buying them.
