Fencing appeal

Letters

I APPEALED in your column last year that NCD Commission finance the cost of putting wire fences in place of corrugated iron sheets on main roads around the city where Apec entourages will pass through.
Some businesses can afford the cost but most residents may have retired or have no income after putting the fence in some years back.
So it’s fair in a way that NCD Commission as the metropolitan government to take on the cost as it has equally failed to guarantee the safety or residents and ratepayers by allowing the growth of settlements vagrancies which are contributing to law and order problems.
I appeal to our good governor to invest PSIP or DSIP funds in that so you can leave a legacy behind as the longest serving governor.
