THE stage will be set on fire as two of the best kick boxers in Lee Henry “The Flash” Garap and Alfred “The Great White Shark” Samuel face off for the Papua New Guinea WBF vacant title at the Sports Inn, in Port Moresby, tomorrow night.
All eyes will be on the Flash and The Great White Shark in what is expected to be a brutal main bout.
It will not be an easy challenge in the five rounds of two minutes each as the two professionals display their skills and styles.
Both are champions in their own right and will produce a worthy contest.
Garap, 30, has 42 wins and a draw in 51 professional bouts, while being unbeaten in 38 amateur fights.
He is still unbeaten as the 66kg PNG WMC kick boxing champion, Victorian State Full Contact Champion and Fight Fit Muay Thai Champion.
Sameul, 21, has been a temporary resident in Sydney for almost two years and boasts a track record of 47 amateur fights, with 20 wins and 17 losses.
In the K1 modified kick boxing, he has four wins, a draw and a loss.
Samuel said he had prepared for this fight with lead-ups in Sydney and was looking forward to the show­down.
The Ox & Palm Cup Challenge in the Southern Region in the 70-72kg has a full undercard of 26 fighters lining up for the first elimination round.
Nandex said the gates would open at 3.30pm, with the fights starting at 6pm.
There are only 500 tickets and they cost corporate table K500, ringside K50 and side stand K25.
