Fighting corruption

Letters

I AGREE with the letter from Kotiufa Snippers in the The National (Sept 24) that there is no need for a new anti-corruption office to replace Task Force Sweep.
What new ideas and strategies will this office bring in?
The Task Force Sweep team headed by Sam was what Papua New Guineans wanted.
The few results that the team prosecuted were an eye opener for the people of this nation.
I guess they had been praying for that to happen.
The people of this nation are not primitive and deaf anymore.
There is so much corruption in the government system and the senior people at the top are the culprits.
Some have already been sent to jail while others are still hiding around pretending to be innocent, and they are the modern
Judas Iscariot and Zaccheus of our time.
Time will catch up with them one day, and I encourage every patriotic Papua New Guinean to rise up and fight this crime which is destroying our future.
We do not need to stay back and watch until it’s too late.
