Finschhafen economic zone

I am writing on behalf of most of my Kotte people and as a concerned Finschhafen citizen who will live and die as a Kande man.
We are aware that a Private Member’s Bill is nnow before Parliament to be introduced by our MP, Renbo Paita, for a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) to be set up in Finschhafen district.
If this is true, then we the local people of Finschhafen are disappointed because there wasn’t any thorough consultation carried out throughout the district to educate our people and gauge our views and concerns before coming up with this final paper for presentation in Parliament.
We will not sit back and allow an untried sophisticated hi-tech business concepts to be introduced and implemented into our district at the expense of our silent majority, who don’t even know what an SEZ means and how it will operate and affect their simple lives.
This I believe is a serious oversight and breach of established procedures that should be followed when preparing Bills for presentation in Parliament.
I am appealing to our MP to kindly withdraw this bill and bring it back to the district, so we can talk about it and get our people to give it their endorsement before it goes to Parliament.
