Fire turns building to ashes

The administration building of Amapyaka Highlands Lutheran International School in Enga was burnt to ashes on Tuesday morning.
Six other buildings that connected were also burned with the school losing all its computers and other equipment.
Enga police commander Joseph Tondop said the school was one of the best in the country with quality infrastructure.
A team of police officers is carrying out investigations into the fire.
“We will advise as soon as the team establishes the cause of the fire,” Tondop said.
He said that did not stop the progress of the grade 12 examination which started on Monday and will end today.
