LEADERS in making Tuffa tanks, K K Kingston, donated four Tuffa tanks to three churches and a ministry at their factory yard along Laurabada Avenue in Lae, Morobe yesterday.

The three of the recipients Situm Lutheran Renewal, Situm Seventh-Day Adventist and Holy Fruit Ministry from Nadzab each received 5,000l capacity tanks while Bethel Baptist Church got a 3,000l capacity tank.

The tuffa tanks are the ‘donation tanks’, an initiative of the company to help institutions and communities in the outskirts.

National sales manager Robert Airi stated that the firm was donating the tanks to schools, aid posts and churches within the communities in the outskirts who are under-privileged and do not have good access to water.

Airi said he would later arrange a time to meet with the recipients and teach them how to clean the tuffa tanks in-order to keep its life span longer after its initial lifespan of 10-15 years.

Pr Timothy Sogori of Bethel Baptist Church, on behalf of other two churches and the ministry, thanked the company for helping them.
