GOROKA based Kay Workshop has come good to maintain the sponsorship of two Goroka Police bowling teams participating in the Ela Motors Corporate Bowling challenge.

It is a kind gesture to give back in return for businesses to the police department who has been providing for the workshop, according to Kay Workshop managing director Kay Ubie’e.

He said there was a growing interest in police officers to participate in the challenge,  that his company decided to step up their sponsorship for two teams this year.

Last year Kay Workshop had sponsored a team in corporate bowling challenge.

Ubie’e said though his workshop was operating as a small private entity, they were committed to give back to their clients for giving them business.

“When one business house gets some form of business from a client, it has to give back in return in some form to maintain relationship to be in the business,” he said.

His firm has been engaged to servicing police vehicles over the past six years. In return, the company was happy to support the teams.
