Firm gives K10,000 to appeal drive

A HIRE car company in Lae has donated K10,000 to the ‘Morobe for Australia Bushfire Appeal’ drive.
No.1 Hire Car group managing director Sam Eremas said Australia was one of our closest neighbour as most Papua New Guineans were inter-related with families down there.
“We have a lots of Australian family friends, some are long time Lae residents and in PNG and the history goes back a long way.”
Morobe for Australia Bushfire Appeal committee chairperson Sheila Harou acknowledged the donation.
She said this appeal was basically to all the city residents and the citizens of Morobe to support.
Harou said the Bank South Pacific account number for the MFABA is 7018880968 under the account name Morobe for Australia Bushfire Appeal.
She said the team would be available to attend to groups or companies that want to support the Australia Bushfire Appeal.
