THE Central Business Systems company in Port Moresby has donated a multi-function office machine worth K4,000 to the Waigani police station.

CBS managing director Joe Alopea said the office machine would help Waigani police in their communication needs.

“This is a multi-function machine with fax, scanner, printer and photocopier,” he said.

“It will help you to work properly and efficiently to serve the public.”

CBS will provide free maintenance to the machine.

“Our idea is to help our police to cut down the lawlessness in our city,” Alopea said.

National Capital District Acting Supt (operations) Godwin Dukaduka thanked CBS for the donation.

“It is a very small donation, but it is a timely donation,” he said.

“We are a service delivery organisation, and we must provide excellent service to the public.”
