PIONEER coffee roasting company Arabica Coffee Roaster is set to make a comeback.
Goroka-based Arabica Coffee Roaster made its presence felt in the coffee fraternity at the National Coffee Symposium in Port Moresby last week displaying its different roasted beans.
Arabica Coffee property manager Nick Ben said the company had been left out in the doldrums from active coffee trading for the past few years.
He said when new management, under new owners Robert and Luania Nilkare, Arabica Coffee Roaster was now making its return into Papua New Guinea’s coffee fraternity.
Ben said for Arabica Coffee to participate in the National Coffee Symposium was very important to open up market accessibilities and promote their roasted coffee beans.
“The symposium was aimed at adding value to coffee production and improve quality of coffee,” he said.
“Arabica Coffee is now committed and determined to provide the best coffee roasted and ground beans for its customers.”
He said Arabica was happy to participate in both national and international coffee orientated exhibitions to promote the quality of PNG coffee.
Ben thanked the management of Coffee Industry Corporation (CIC) and organisers for allowing Arabica to participate in the symposium.
“The coffee industry is going forward towards opening up markets to let growers know how the prices they get and to add value to the coffee produced in PNG,” he said.
“Arabica Coffee will always be in the fore front to pay higher price to the growers for their coffee and hard work.”
Ben said they are excited to participate after coming back on the scene, the first and foremost thing to do is to let customers know that Arabica Coffee is back and bring roasted coffee beans to the market.
