Firm pledges K6,000 for gospel singing contest

 THE Super Value Group has pledged K6,000 in support of the Lae schools gospel singing contest organised by Catholic FM and numerous stakeholders in Lae, Morobe. 

The SVS Lae gospel singing sontest would feature selected schools within Lae, tasked to stage auditions within their respective schools.

A statement from the organisers said: “Talented finalists will then register to take part in the contest. 

“The main objective of the concert, emphasised by Catholic FM Station manager Mason Mai, is to create awareness on cross-cutting issues affecting students nowadays.

“It is hoped that this will set the platform to mainstream talented groups or individuals to further that career as musicians. 

“Super Value’s invaluable sponsorship will cover operational costs enabling Catholic FM and its stakeholders to stage the gospel concert,” the statement said.
