Firm produces catalogue

 Industrial tool and safety equipment supplier, Bishops has produced a product catalogue specifically for Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.

The firm launched the 600-plus page Industrial and Safety Catalogue at a trade show in Port Moresby last Thursday. The publication featured more than 15,000 products with coloured pictures, part numbers and product descriptions.

National sales manager Len Pianta said: “This catalogue was made specifically for Papua New Guinea and (the) Solomon Islands, making it the first of its kind in PNG. It is a publication has been in the works for some 18 months, pulling information and specifications from hundreds of leading brands into one easy to use catalogue.

“We hope that it will soon become a must-have for every project, purchasing, workshop and safety manager in the country,” Pianta said.

Bishops said catalogue copies would be distributed to customers this week. 

The company said requests for copies could be made at local Bishops outlets in Port Moresby, Lae, Kimbe, Kokopo, Madang, Mt. Hagen and Honiara, Solomon Island.
