A MAN who owns a company which makes coffins is concerned about the number of people killed on the roads.
George Kalg, who owns Paka Funeral Supplies, blames careless driving and lack of consideration for other road users as the main causes of road deaths.
He said it was sad to see so many people killed this way, although his business was benefitting from making coffins.
Kalg said the six coffins he made recently were for six people who died in a road accident at Wagum in Southern Highlands.
He called on people to look after themselves and not to use vehicles which are not roadworthy.
