Firms forcing workers to get Covid-19 vaccine

SOME companies are forcing and threatening their employees with docking of pay or even termination to get vaccinated even they have opted not to.
I believe some other workers are experiencing the same, but are reluctant to raise this matter out of fear of retribution by their employees.
I know of at least three private companies that have forced their employees to get vaccinated.
The ones who have refused to get vaccinated have been told to work from home.
This has caused a huge number of workers getting vaccinated under duress and against their will.
Others who opted not to get vaccinated have been forced to work from home indefinitely.
Their prospect of returning to work looks slim and there is a threat of “leave without pay or eventually losing one’s job completely”.
I am one of them that was told to work from home.
I’ve been told that I might not get paid if I continue to refuse to get vaccinated.
I know of two relatives that were forced to get vaccinated. I recall the Government, through National Pandemic Response Controller and Police Commissioner David Manning, saying that employers were not supposed to force their workers to get vaccinated.
Vaccination was supposed to be optional.
I believe the ones that have refused vaccination should not be forced by anyone, including our employer to get vaccinated.
These companies have even threatened to take away benefits such as:

• NO pick and drop off from the company vehicles;
• NOT to use the office rest rooms/facilities;
• NOT to have lunch breaks within the office area;
• PAY deductions (with the possibility of termination); and,
• WORKING from home without pay.

I am not a lawyer but I do not believe the Pandemic Act says it is compulsory for all persons to get vaccinated.
I also believe the Constitution protects individuals’ rights against this sort of discrimination and threats.
The Constitution stipulates that all persons in our country are entitled to the fundamental rights and freedoms.
This is to say that no matter your race, tribe, place of origin, political opinion, colour, creed or sex, everyone’s rights should be respected at all mtimes.
Citizens should be allowed to decide for themselves and not forced into doing things.
As long as workers are able to wear masks and maintain the Covid-19 safety measures, they should ever be forced into taking the vaccine.
Can someone in authority, including Manning and Department of Labour and Industrial Relations, do something urgently about this.
A lot of workers like me are at home worrying whether or not we will return to our offices soon or even get terminated because we opted not to get vaccinated.
