Business

By PETER ESILA
Kison Amson, 32, is among the 20 employed to clean fish bought by customers at the Koki Fish Market in Port Moresby.
Kison works as a security guard from 9pm to 6am, then goes to the market to clean fish during the day.
He is from Kikori in Gulf.
He reached grade 8 at the St Francis Koki Primary School.
Amson started working at the market last year.
There is no set fee for what he does. It is really up to the customer buying the fish how much to pay him.
It is usually between K5 and K10 for a bundle of fish to clean.
People who buy fish at the fish market include expatriates, business executives and city residents.
Kison lives at Wanigela village.
As a Seventh-day Adventist church member, he does not work on the Sabbath, from Friday evening to Saturday.
