Fishy excuses

I WISH to air my frustration with the inability of the National Fisheries Authority to process the 2010 PDF grant to enable SMEs, small fisheries cooperatives and village fishermen and women to commence their business.
My cooperative submitted a proposal for the first tier of funding of K20,000 and it has been approved.
However, we have been waiting in vain for the last four months.
Each time we call NFA, we are told our application is “with finance for processing” or “the director is on duty travel and will need to sign the cheque”, etc.
What a load of rubbish.
