The Stones Taekwondo Club have set up a programme to cater for those affected by lifestyle diseases, especially public servants who struggle to find time for physical exercises.
Initiator Master Jamuga Stone said the programme aimed to improve physical and positive outlook, breathing, body balance, body toning and tuning, flexibility, agility, lifestyle, weight loss, personal confidence, self-defence, security and eating habits.
“Our young and old working class people are dying at an early age or are victims of crime,” Stone said.
“This programme here can make a difference. I’m using my experience in the martial arts and fitness industry to address some of these issues that affect our communities.
“The target age group is 37 to 65 years and there are 60 spaces up for grabs for this programme that will be running for 12 weeks at the Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.
“Those who register will see a positive outcome after completing the programme, both physically and mentally.”
Stone is urging all interested participants to contact him on 79725922 or 75467220 or via email on [email protected] to receive a registration form.
Registration started on Jan 13 and will close on Jan 30.
