Fix Madang now, please

I VISITED Madang and found it to be so hostile.

The streets are now ruled by knife-wielding thugs, pickpockets, drug addicts, drunkards and people with a do-not-care attitude while roads in are pothole ridden.

Governor Jim Kas and his provincial government should stop playing politics and get down to some serious business of fixing Madang and the same goes for MP Nixon Duban.

The Madang police should also step up their operations and take control of the situation before it goes from bad to worse.

Ensure that Madang remains beautiful, peaceful and continue to be the tourist capital of PNG.
