Flood affecting lives of many

THE recent rainfall in Morobe has caused heavy flooding in Ward 14 of Aihi local level government area in Nawaeb district, Morobe.
The flood has destroyed many homes and properties.
During the rainy season, students in lower grades do not go to school and people go late to work.
The waste from the PNG University of Technology (Unitech) sewage fills the homes and the roadsides.
This problem has been going on for many years.
I am calling on the authorities to look address this issue.
I, as a leader, have seen this problem affecting my people for long enough.
I am appealing to those in authority to hear my plea.
My people deserve to live healthy and decent lives.
