FIVE women in Port Moresby are growing and arranging flowers to raise money for their church.
Kiak David, Kombal Daka, Margret Gorau, Tomsy Vise and Koume Wanda are members of the United Pentecostal Assemblies.
They are supplying flowers to parliament, offices and businesshouses in Port Moresby.
“We’re working to help raise money for a new church building in Port Moresby,” said team leader David. “We prepare and dress the flowers on Saturdays and bring them to the Parliament on Mondays.
“Our job is to take out the old ones and replace them with new flowers. We started working on this in 2015.”
