Focus on economy and service delivery

MANY commentators who are the minority seem more compelled to discuss political events and legal interpretations of laws passed by parliament.
However, those purporting to represent the silent majority have their focus wrong as there is no talk about service delivery and the economy.
Are we people-focused or serving self-interests?
In terms of governance, only parliament can make laws while the judiciary interprets them.
Lest we forget, members of the judiciary are officials, not elected members and therefore are not involved in law-making or decision-makings.
The government has the mandate to govern and has the right to make decisions.
I fail to understand why a law passed by parliament and the decision of the legitimate government was not enforced.
All the stalemate and standoff is total nonsense and a waste of time and taxpayers’ money.
The shift in focus of the current government to give priority to development spending was a step in the right direction.
They have delivered services to the people and as a result, we expect the economy to pick up.
I pray that the current regime is returned in the next term.
The vocal minority should not be fussing over trivial matters.
The three arms are not at fault, but it is the individuals occupying the offices who are the main culprits.
They are accountable to the people of PNG in terms of service delivery.
If they have not delivered, are they not indispensable?
