Focus on revenue

THE 2019 Budget builds on the progress made this year on reforms under the 25-point plan, with a focus on increasing revenue collection, says Treasurer Charles Abel.
He tabled in Parliament yesterday a money plan with expenditure totalling K16.133 billion and a revenue forecast of K14.266 billion.
“The declining trend in government revenues up to 2016 has been turned around,” he said.
