Follow Grand Chief’s style of leadership

FROM the past two weeks since the passing away of founding father of the nation Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare, many leaders and citizens paid tributes.
Grand Chief’s legacy is something to be admired.
I appeal to the Sepik MPs to understand that leadership does not necessarily depend on being right.
You have to lead people with care.
You have guide them towards what they already know is right.
A leader’s task is to get his people from where they are to where they have not been.
Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.
Making good decisions is a crucial skill.
The quality of leaders is reflected in the standards they set for themselves.
A good objective of leadership is to help those who are doing poorly to do well and to help those who are doing well to do better.
