Business

FONE Haus will be opening a new shop at Rangeview Mall in Port Moresby, a new store in Kimbe next month, and improvement on its shops in Vision City (VC), Kokopo and Mt Hagen, says general manager Damian Ames.
They plan to bring in brand ambassador and rugby league legend Johnathan Thurston to open the VC shop.
“We are working with Johnathan Thurston on a possible visit within the next 3 months to open our new Vision City shop, visit customers in our shops and do a number of promotional visits to our key partners and charities.”
He said many people now preferred a smartphone than a basic feature phone.
“We have seen a lot of changes during the last two years with most customers now upgrading from a basic feature phone or 3G phone to a better quality 4G phone.
“While the majority of phones we sell are still under K400, a lot more customers are looking to spend K600 to K1000 to get a faster phone with better cameras and features.”
He said Fone Haus had a very successful 2021.
“Fone Haus has a great reputation in PNG for great products and excellent customer service.
“We stayed safe during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) with 98 per cent of our staff vaccinated.
“We have the biggest brands in PNG including Mintt, Samsung, JBL and iPhone.”
