Footballers in training for Olympic qualifiers

OCEANIA Football Confederation (OFC) Olympic qualifiers teams across the Pacific have been preparing for the coming 2012 OFC qualifiers to be staged in Fiji next March.
PNG Football Association (PNGFA) have also been preparing the team to represent the country that has been identified from the Telikom National Soccer League (NSL).
The players have been identified and shortlisted to make up the train-on squad with the final names to be announced after a second camp early next year.
 The team will be training in Lae from Dec 11-14 at the PNGFA Football Academy under the watchful eyes of head coach Frank Farina who will decide on the final players who will make up the final squad.
The team will depart for the Gold Coast in Australia to play their preparation matches with various Australian clubs from Feb 28 to March 9 and staying once again at the Sports Super Centre, Runaway Bay, Gold Coast.
 They leave for Nadi, Fiji, from Australia on March 9 for the Olympic qualifying tournament to be held from March 12-24.
