Foreigners in PNG

Letters

I SAW a foreigner selling betel nut and cigarettes in front of a store at Gerehu Stage 2.
Yesterday, foreigners owned bulk stores while Papua New Guineans owned supermarkets and trade stores.
Today, they own the bulk store and supermarket, and have also taken over the running of trade stores and tucker boxes.
Papua New Guineans sell betel nut and cigarettes in front of shops and bus stops.
Tomorrow, the foreigners will take over the sale of betel nuts and cigarettes.
Papua New Guineans will be cleaning the rubbish and become labourers.
Our government must make laws and regulations strategically for the good of our nation tomorrow.
