PORT Moresby Women’s Rugby League top side Hawks forfeited their match to the Kone Tigers on Saturday as a lack of turn affected several teams.
The other forfeitures were Tarangau over Magani and Paga Panthers over Kone Storm.
The respective clubs were cautioned by league chairman Dr James Naipao that clubs needed to be prepared.
Naipao called on club executives to be better organised and to ensure women’s games were played.
“All the clubs are aware of the competition rules forfeited matches will see clubs fined,” Naipao said.
Naipao called for a better effort from clubs.
