THE PNG NRL BID yesterday announced former Kumuls flyer Arnold Krewanty has joined the team full-time.
The West Sepik lad started this week and will take on the role of game development manager.
That will see him manage the Bid’s junior development and Queensland Cup development programmes.
Shane Morris will move to a specialised role that will see him take charge of the delivery of coach, referee and trainers updates nationally, along with preparations and implementation of the Queensland Cup programme, which will include liaising with local to PNGNRL Digicel Cup teams and helping in their team programmes.
PNGNRL BID chief executive officer Brad Tassell said it was an honour to have Krewanty on board.
“I have known Arnold for quite a few years now and I have the utmost respect for him as an administrator in PNG,” he said.
“I know he will be a valuable asset to the organisation as we move towards stepping up our development and Queensland Cup programmes.”
Tassell said the addition of Krewanty was vital because of the expansion of the BID’s programmes.
“Our national Coca-Cola Schools Programme has doubled in size and we are now extending it to investigate scholarship opportunities in Australia for talented youth coming through the programme.
“Arnold will be full-time hands-on with overseeing the programme and he will be able to concentrate specifically on improving the delivery of the programme through each zone nationally.
