Former nursing head dies

FORMER Lae School of Nursing principal Braka Jekes died at the Angau Memorial Hospital last Friday afternoon after a short illness.
She leaves behind four children and five grand children.  She had been with the health department for more than 20 years and left the job following her illness. 
The funeral service will be held tomorrow at Lae English Memorial SDA church at Top Town.
Her body will later be flown to Port Moresby then to Madang for burial at Bugati village.  
When contacted, school principal Manase Moya said he was saddened by the news and sent his condolences to the immediate family, friends, workmates and the staff and students of Lae School of Nursing.
