FORMER Royals rugby league club player George Ipi is continuing his relationship with the club by presenting K16,000 worth of new sets of Kooga brand uniforms recently.
Through his company, PNG Toner and Ink Supplies, Ipi has extended its sponsorship into its sixth year.
He has been providing match payments to players for every win and has reaped good results for one of the top clubs in Lae.
The presentation was witnessed by police superintendent operations Philip Welia, superintendent administration Ben Neneo, club president Tepi Wilson and Criminal Investigation Department officer-in-charge and club treasurer  Isaac Mol.
Ipi challenged the Correctional Service and PNG Defence Force to return to the sporting scene by fielding their iconic Tarangau and Defence teams.
“I help young players in sports development and influence their lives positively,” Ipi said.
Wilson thanked Ipi for continuing his association with the club in which he progressed from the junior grades into the seniors.
Wilson challenged Royals players to refrain from illegal activities and follow in the footsteps of Jerry Kuts, Joseph Ninkama and Michael Gawi, who have joined the Digicel Cup competition as Lae Snax Tigers players.
