Forum looks at gender issues

 THE Government and the US Embassy will co-host a women’s forum to address gender issues in the country.  

The forum will focus on bringing women’s groups and leaders to work with the Government, public and the private sector to address the needs of women.

It will include a discussion panel on issues regarding the empowerment of women and how they can be agents of change for peace and security in the country.

The topics include the enhancement of educational opportunities for women, encouragement of men and youths to combat gender-based violence and how to get more women into business to empower women.
