UNITED Kingdom-based Stanley Gene Foundation came to the assistance of two groups in Madang last Saturday.
Foundation representatives Ben Ignas and Nigel Hukula presented sick children at the paediatric ward at Modilon Hospital with fruit juice and toys.
They also presented the Crossroad Baptist church and South Sea Evangelical church with television sets.
Ignas and Hukula travelled from Goroka, Eastern Highlands, to make the presentation on behalf of former Kumul great Stanley Gene, who is based in England.
The foundation has helped many schools and communities with library books, hospitals with television sets, DVD players, toys and food stuff, and water supply projects and sports uniforms and equipment.
Sr Lois of the paediatric ward said they were grateful to the foundation because the donation put smiles on the faces of the sick children and their parents.
Pr Simon Wahi of Crossroad Baptist Church thanked them for the donation.
