THE Ginigoada Bisnis Development Foundation hosted its annual expo at the Murray Barracks sports grounds in Port Moresby.

The expo began last Wednesday and ended last Friday with a graduation ceremony for more than 500 people attending short-term skills training courses in National Capital District vocational schools.

Foundation manager Michael Fields said the expo was to showcase what Ginigoada was doing in the community and to let the public know what the foundation was about.

Fields said it was a goal of the foundation to graduate 9,900 participants this year under its short-term courses.

The expo also showcased short-term courses (two to four weeks) ranging from introduction to education, business and financial skills and sexual and personal health.

Enrolments for courses are free.

Ginigoada also provides training and skills development courses in partnership with the Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industry and job training for their graduates.
