POLICE in Manus have arrested four suspects for allegedly damaging a new double classroom on Andra Island on Thursday.
Provincial police commander Chief Insp David Yapu said the suspects were believed to be drunk at the time of the incident.
Chief Insp Yapu stressed that it was a newly built classroom for the Andra community.
“What the suspects did to the classroom was a total disgrace and disrespectful to the Andra community and the division of education in Manus.”
He said the four suspects were expected to appear in court yesterday.
