Education

THE New Ireland government has given four more students scholarships to study in Australia.
They will join three others who received scholarships last year
The students in year 11 and year 12 will attend Marist Ashgrove and Stuartholmes College.
Marist College Ashgrove is a Roman Catholic day and boarding school for boys at Ashgrove, a northern suburb of Brisbane, Australia.
Stuartholme School is a Catholic day and boarding school for girls, at Toowong, in Brisbane.
“This is an expensive programme but our students will be equivalent to the top in the world,” governor Sir Julius Chan said.
“Our ultimate aim is to get eight students on this New Ireland government scholarship every year.”
