 FOUR national boxing titles are up for grabs at the Sports Inn, in Port Moresby, on Sunday.

The titles are welterweight (66 kg), intermediate light welter (63. 5 kg), light heavy (79 kg) and bantamweight (54 kg). 

The titles fights will be 10 rounds each, with fights on the undercard over six rounds.

In the welterweight division, Kevin Ragu defends his title against challenger Simon Hela.

That is followed by another champ in Douglas Walo facing challenger Paul Lare in the intermediate title light welterweight (63.5 kg) with the winner to face unbeaten Kevin Baki on July 14.

In the light heavyweight division, contender John Korake takes on Peter Pora for the vacant belt.

Another two contenders in Ja­son Hayeu and Eugene Keto battle for the vacant bantamweight title.

The undercard will in the 57kg division Agone Raio and John Kalau fighting, followed by Andaripa Mon and Ali Ipai in the 70kg.

Wanigela’s John Oscar should be too powerful for new boy John Harris.

In the other 60kg clash old timers Andy Emex and Henry George test their fitness and tactics.

Gate fees are ringside K25, side stand K15 and children under 12 years K5.
