Four to vie for Apec Best Women Entrepreneur Award

ONE woman entrepreneur in the country will have a chance to win the Apec Best Women Entrepreneur award come next month’s Apec women and the economy forum.
Four women entrepreneurs in the country were selected by the Department and Ministry of Yotuh Religion and Community Development which is responsible for women empowerment and issues.
They are:

  • Florence Jaukae, from Jaukae Bilum Products, who specialises in bilum-wear;
  • Dorothy Luana, from Devine Management Services Ltd, who specialises in organic, health and beauty products;
  • Theresia Timbi, from Mitu Spice, who sells spices; and
  • Shallyn Lomutopa, from Amanini Coffee Nursery, who does growing to downstream processing of coffee.

Minister Soroi Eoe and Secretary Anna Solomon congratulated the women in Port Moresby yesterday on the uniqueness of their products and services.
