FOUR tribes which had been fighting each other for years ended their rivalry at a crusade in Lufa, Eastern Highlands during Christmas.
PNG Evangelists pastor Reverend Joseph Walters who conducted the crusade said the tribes had been at war for a very long time.
The crusade was held from Dec 23 to 25 at Yagasa village, Gunno local level government.
Villagers walked from their villages to Yagasa every day to attend the crusade.
Some came from Chimbu, Morobe, Southern Highlands, Enga and Gulf.
Rev Walters said more than 300 sick or disabled people were prayed for.
For who had been bed-ridden for 10 years were brought on stretchers to the crusade.
