Trukai has given K50,000 each to four lucky winners nationwide for its Roots promotion.
“The promotion was put to reward loyal Roots consumers with cash incentives,” said Trukai’s general-manager for sales and marketing Andrew Daubney.
The ‘Roots Win a Share of K500,000’ grand prize draw for each region was held on Friday in Port Moresby, Lae, Mt Hagen and Kokopo respectively.
“The promotion was a successful one and we’d like to thank all our loyal Roots consumers who participated,” Daubney said.
He said the number of entries that came through for the promotion was massive with some very positive responses from Roots consumers.
Daubney said they are glad to have given back to them.
The four regional winners are Brian Yamorea (Southern), Wilson Opu (Momase), Timson Rock (Highlands) and Ailleen Sagolo (New Guinea Islands).
The promotion was spread out over a period of six weeks with weekly draws rewarding 116 winners nationwide with a total prize money worth K500,000.
“The promotion has helped with school fee money for my children,” said Samson Rambaio, one of the lucky winners from Kokopo.
Rambaio was lucky enough to win during the first and fifth draws which is a total of K11, 000.
He was thankful to Trukai Industries for such a promotion that assisted people like him with school fee needs.
This is the second time Trukai Industries has hosted a Roots K500, 000 give away promotion.
